Greg Trubowitsch M.D.

Dr. Trubowitsch was born in New York and grew up on Long Island. He graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in 1983 cum laude, with distinction in research. He earned the Elliot Stellar award for best undergraduate research project in Neuroscience. Subsequently, he studied medicine at State University of New York at Stony Brook, and then did an internship in Internal Medicine from Yale's Danbury Medical Center in Connecticut.

After completing his Ophthalmology residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, he went on to be the Vitreo-Retinal Fellow at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein University in New York. Dr. Trubowitsch went into private practice in El Paso joining Southwest Retina Consultants, P.A. in 1992.

David C. Metrikin M.D.

Dr. Metrikin was born in South Africa and obtained a medical degree at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He and his family moved to the U.S.A. in 1987. After studying pathology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and completing an internship at the Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital he was a resident in Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.

He completed a fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and joined Southwest Retina Consultants, P.A. in El Paso in 1995. Dr. Metrikin is the author of several journal articles and a book chapter on diseases of the retina.

Dr. Metrikin has been selected by his peers as one of the "Best Doctors in America" since 2005 and is a member of the "Global Directory of Who's Who" since 2014.

Jeremy Cuthbertson M.D.

Dr. Cuthbertson was born and raised in south Texas, and attended Southwestern University in Georgetown where he was graduated in 1995. After obtaining his medical degree at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, he rotated as an intern in Houston, followed by a residency in Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate in New York.

He returned to Dallas for fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery and disease and joined Southwest Retina Consultants, P.A. in 2005.

Dinesh Bahl M.D.

Dr. Bahl was born in New Delhi, India and moved to New York City at a very early age. He attended the Bronx High School of Science and graduated from Brown University in 1996 with Honors. He then went on to work for the United Nations on international health policy under the Howard R. Swearer Fellowship. He attended medical school at the State University of New York in Brooklyn where he was awarded Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital in New York City.

After completing his Ophthalmology residency at State University of New York at Brooklyn, he completed a fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and joined Southwest Retina Consultants, P.A. in 2008.
